Hi all,
BTW, for the test results I reported a little while ago, I ran the OM4Ti on
self-
timer which would have raised the mirror and pre-fired the aperture.
ALSO, I have sent two negs of shots (@ 18 & 28) of a looong brick building,
taken with the Samyang 18-28, back for printing at 6x9 & 8x12 inches.
Should have results back at the end of the week.
Lastly, if you look at the aperture stop-down mechanism on the OM bodies,
the part that is visible is a vertically-running lever - that stops and starts
quite
rapidly. Some time, if I ever get one in bits, I will look to see if the ends
of the
motion can be damped or slowed. Compensating the moments of motion
would be beyond my capabilities.
