It's a really great lens, heavy, as Tom says, but wonderful. The LD glass
really makes nice snappy photos.
I was lucky to find a Tamron 1.4x a couple of months ago, so now I've got a
112-280/4 when I need it.
Some have zoom creep on the one-touch mechanism, they will need cleaning
and relubing. I hope you got the tripod adapter and hood, as they're hard
to find separated from the lens.

It's me one more time. I promise not to post again for at least a week.*
I really had forgotten that I set a snipe for this, but I just got an email
from THAT place telling me this:
Item name: Tamron 80-200MM F2.8 SP Lens Adaptall Hood
Item number: 1386803993
Your current bid: $290.00
Your maximum bid: $303.03
End date: Sunday, Oct 13, 200214:41:55 PDT
Current price: $290.00
So, does anybody know anything about one of these? My "McBroom's Camera
Bluebook" lists one in excellent condition at $500-650. I thought it would
be a good tote- along companion for the 35~80/2.8 Zuiko. If it's as good as
my other Tamrons, I'll be satisfied.
