Travel OM advice wanted:
I'll be in Morocco for a 5 cities in 5 days tour mid november. It will be a
guided tour, which is not really my thing, but it's a kind of gift from my
boss, so I won't complain!
I'll take my OM 4 and probably the 21f3.5, 35 shift, 40f2 in the bus, 50f1.4
for the bazars, 85f2 and maybe, maybe a 90 macro, probably not the 24 shift.
I have never been there, so my questions are:
Any ideas about the light... do I need ND filters at this time of the year,
or any other filters?
What kind of film? I don't like flash, but there can be huge contrast during
a day, from interiors to extoriors I guess. So I look for a kind of
forgiving flexible ASA film... :), I might take a second body, but feel it
is a bit much.
I heard of multiple layer film on the list (I think fuji) behaving well in
different artificial light conditions. What is the exact name, is it slide
or reversal, what ASA is it available and what are your experiences (any
sample images on the www?).
Did I forgot something?
iwert
ps I put the smelly 35-70f3.6 out in the sun today, and it smells a bit more
like autumn now.
