I am not sure that I would agree with 'standards of construction'. I have
had both a 2.8 and a 3.5 Zuiko 135mm. As far as I recall, both had a
problem with the lens release button failing, due to the little plastic
plug that Olympus uses as the hinge-pin for the actuating lever. Easily
fixed by my local repairman with a metal screw replacement...I have heard
of others with the same problem.
Great optically though, especially the 2.8 version.
