"Question is, what do you guys use to write film / frame no on the back of
the prints ? "
RC prints: the wonderful Sharpie. This has been a mainstay of photographers
for over twenty years, and now, everyone has found a use for them. I
remember when it was hard to find one, but how they're everywhere. They now
come in three sizes, fine, regular, and big as a ball bat. the fine works
best. Because of the nature of the RC paper, there is no bleed.
Fiber based prints: #2 yellow pencil. Press lightly, and there will be
nothing telegraphed through to the front. Lasts forever, "archival" as
anything like that can be, and won't bleed.
