Hi everyone,
I haven't been able to really participate for a little while, mainly due
to the hours I've been working and the extreme amount of homework I've had
to do. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I contracted chicken pox a few days
ago. The doctor told me that I have to stay in the house until everything
has cleared up. This could take up to 14 days. I now have a lot of time on
my hands.
I ordered a stamp for any prints that I'll be selling last week. The
stationary store called me saying that an ink pad appropriate for photos ran
$70. I told them to forget the ink pad and just make a normal stamp. Is it
neccassary to have this expensiove ink, or can I make due with a regular
inkpad. How else can I prevent the unlawful reproduction of my prints?
Although it has taken a long time, I finally know how often the enlarging
lens is cleaned in the printer at my photolab: twice a day with compressed
air, and once every second day with an appropriate cloth. It is such a
massive thing too. Ours is a Fujinon(?) and is about the size of the Zuiko
250mm f2. It is VERY heavy too. It moves on a swinging arm so that one can
clean it and access other areas of the printer.
