Yup, same, mine's stuck wide open. Levers move but no sign of iris blades
- until I got the back off and starting poking, swishing solvent around
with cotton bud, ... There must be something springy in the linkages that
allows parts to move while other parts remain defiantly fixed (until they
get a dose of solvent).

Is this the same problem ? Mine would appear to be stuck wide open (as I
can see aboslutely no sign of any iris leaves). This suggests to me that
some lever somewhere has disconnected or broken. Can you actually see any
iris leaves in yours ?
