I've never used this Vivitar, but I'm betting the Tamron SP 35-105/2.8
Aspherical is no bigger, but with greater reach and excellent performance.

What opinions about this lens do any users have? I might be interested in buying one or trading a Zuiko for one. Please respond off list if interested in selling or swapping for one. Bill BarberBill, this is one of the original 'cult classic' Vivitar Series 1 lenses. It is heavy and large, but stays f2.8 throughout the zoom range, and my example is very sharp... and not up for sale <g>. But I recommend it if you can find one, a couple have floated by on the 'bay recently in the $100 to $150 range. < This message was delivered via the Olympus Mailing List > < For questions, mailto:owner-olympus@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > < Web Page: http://Zuiko.sls.bc.ca/swright/olympuslist.html > |
