I have one of the f/3.5-4.5 versions but have just received it and haven't
used it yet. Www.craigcamera.com has manuals for some Kiron lenses.
Cheers,
Lee

Subject: [OM] Kiron 28-70mm macro zoom Variants?
Date: Sat, 31 Aug 2002 08:30:38 -0500
Just received a nice Kiron 28~70 f/4 lens from Bill Stanke (thanks, Bill),
and am curious about one thing... while looking around to find any
background data on this lens, I discovered that apparently Kino Precision
made two variants of this lens - the one I have, and one identified as an
f/3.5-4.5. The latter would appear to be much more common, based on a quick
search on e*ay. Does anyone know anything about these lenses? Are they
really different in any way (other than labeling), or was it more of a
cosmetic, marketing change (3.5 - 4.5 is after all, less than +- a half
stop!)? Thanx for any insight! Curt
