I was doing the rounds of the local photo stores and
found a Bogen 3205 which had seen better days. The price
tag was shocking though. (To me anyway.) $15
So I asked a clerk if there was some mistake and no there
was not. The reason is that One of the turns to hold the
telescoping leg in place is missing and has been replaced
with a regular screw and a nut.
I figured, $15 was not a lot of money, even if I decided
I didn't like it. Since it was the bottom most portion of
the leg I could leave it extended all the time with only
a little inconvenience. If I could repair it i could sell
it for more then I got and use the money to trade up.
So is it a fang?
Does anyone have advice on where I can get the hardware
to return the one leg to full function?
Thanks!
