As Tom and others have pointed out, this is hardly "news".
This topic has been discussed countless times, as far back as
a year ago, until right now. If you'll look up the most recent
thread titled "What are we expecting" and follow it back to the
beginning, you'll see the mention of the very same source of
the "OM adapter" announcement.
