There is a device to allow the scanning of 3D objects with a flatbed
scanner. It's called the Lightshow 3D and sells for $399.95US from
Publishing Perfection. Their address is 2155 Watertown Road., Waukesha, WI
53186-1898, USA. Their phone number is 1-800-826-9874 and their web site URL
is www.pubperfect.com . I have no knowledge as to how well it works. /jim

Subject: [OM] [OT] Scanner experiments
I asked the list a week or two ago whether it was possible to scan an
aerial image from a slide projector using a flatbed scanner. Since then
I tried a bit of experimentation and y'all can make up your own mind.
