I don't think it is a resources problem, even I take the control I will not
issue two DSLR at the same time. It will fright against each other, I will
just let you to buy the pro model first (D1x) and then later issue a D100
with more pixel then you will buy it as a second body. This is the strategy
of Nikon, see the sample I mentioned, the F90 has more feature than a F4 and
it issue as a semi-pro body after the F4. The F100 is the same after the F5.
If they were issued at the same time, it would have affect the sales of the
pro model.
Please also note the D1x and D100 are both DSLR and could be design by the
same team, the C5050 and DSLR are totally different and target on different
market.
