It is not true, one can make a 0.5x adapter in front of your lens
means the other can integrate the same on one lens. I don't mean they
will use the "wide adapter+normal lens" optical construction but just
an example. Another example is the 1/3" CCD in your camcoder can have
a zoom from 35-350 (35mm eqv). Why a DC with much larger sensor can't
have a wider lens?
