Don't be so quick... The Auto Meter IIIf IS the 'Flash Meter III'. That's

there's the Color Meter IIIf as well. They simplified it when they went to
the 'Flash Meter XX' nomenclature.
Hi Mickey,
You may well be correct but - if you'll go to the KEH used equipment pages
for flash meters they show both the Auto Meter IIIF
<http://www.keh.com/shop/SHOWPRODUCT.CFM?CRID=3627237&SKID=GM7000002675004&SID=newused>
and Flash Meter III
<http://www.keh.com/shop/SHOWPRODUCT.CFM?CRID=3627237&SKID=GM7000002781205&SID=newused>
listed and, in the pictures, they look like two entirely different
beasts. I think the names are still confusing - at least to one of us -
and I'm not sure which! :-)
BTW, it appears they continued the confusion with the "IV" models because
KEH also shows an Auto Meter IVF and a Flash Meter IV and the pictures show
two different meters.
Later,
Johnny
