I have a hairbrained scheme to mate my T-32 to a Hassy 553 ELX which does
OTF flash control for it's dedicated flash unit (which I don't have). Do you
think I would be successful in chopping the flash control cable from the
Hassy and mating it to a TTL Auto cord-T cable for the T-32, and getting it
to work in proper OTF flash control? Or am I nuts.
I don't know how many wires are in the Hassy cable (connector has 6 pins),
but I assume that it sends a signal to fire, followed by a squelch signal
via another wire when the cameras CPU says "enough exposure", similar to the
OM's.
If you have reason to believe that this will NEVER work, please save me the
expense of 2 cables and a bit of time and let me know.
thanks,
Rick
