I once mentioned to Burt Keppler at Popular Photography that SLR (or
view-camera) viewing had a distinct advantage over RF viewing -- the image
was formed on a slightly grainy surface, giving it a two-dimensional quality
that more-closely approached what you would see in the final print. An RF
view, on the other hand, is "perfectly clear," and retains most of the
original "dimensionality" of the scene, even though you're viewing with just
one eye.
He agreed, and said that some photographers proffered RF cameras precisely
because they _didn't_ like the "flat" image of an SLR finder.
Any comments from those who have just added an RF camera to their photo bag?
