Around here (Ottawa, Canada) you can easily get 990ure isopropyl alcohol
at a pharmacy. It's an over the counter item so you have the ask the
pharmacist for it. Cost is about $2 CAN (about $1.25US) for a 500ml bottle.
I use it all the time to clean lenses and I've never had a problem with it.
