No problem with the camera Jim - there's a diode in series with the
coax socket and it simply depends on the trigger polarity of the
studio flash. Some fire, some don't.
IIRC *only* the coaxial socket is "protected" so a hot shoe - coax
adapter will enable any flash to fire. Worked for me anyway.
