Greetings all - a few days ago a good friend surprised
me with a gift. Out of the blue he hands me his 2n and
T-20 flash. Says he, "Here John, you like Olympus
cameras, I want you to have this, I haven't used it in
a long time." Needless to say I was flabbergasted and
stammered "but Ron, why don't you use it, it's a great
classic camera."
"Naw - I don't need it"
He has a Canon wonderbrick and a Nikon coolpix. He
uses the digicam all the time and apparently hasn't
touched the Olympus in several years.
When I got home I was admiring my new acquisition,
when my wife noticed and said, "oooh - pretty...Mine."
I'm standing there with a dumb look on my face and she
tells me that I already have too many cameras and that
she doesn't have any and that this one is just too
pretty for a man. We have now purchased her first
accessory, a Case S from B&H at a great price and just
loaded her first roll of film. So I guess it's been
adopted. I *almost* had a 2n. Suppose I can
occasionally sneak it out of the case?
John
-------------------------
Hi all - This is John's wife. I caught him trying to
compose this letter. After correcting his spelling
and grammar, I just want to say that it's wonderful
that he has so many caring people to listen to his sad
story. My response is "Neener, neener."
Cori, the OM2n Pilferer
