Good points. I think I confused the group by my post. I only
(and rarely) use my circular polarizer on a 28, 50, or 100.
When I do so, I also want to use a lens hood, as I almost
always use a lens hood. The problem is, there is no proper
lens hood for use on a 28mm lens, using a 49mm slim circular
polarizer with no front threads. Therefore I use the slip-on
21/3.5 lens hood. It is not quite as light restrictive as it
should be, but it sure won't cause vignetting either.
