I assumed the foam was against the prism. I guess the foam must leak
down as it becomes more like a liquid. I am just about done with all the
cleanup. As far as I know nothing needs to go in place of the foam. I
have this mint OM-1n with a nice clear view finder and it looks like I
got this foam out just in time. Thanks for all your help Mark!
