Brian,
great summary. Here are a few more adhesives to add to your list:
"Barge" Glue
American made,Brown rubber,noxious solvent based : looks
identical to pliobond seems to adhere much better. Very widely used by rock
climbers to resole their climbing shoes. Available from the huge camping
retailer REI in the US, and from "5.10" rock climbing shoe vendor in their
resole kits. Aslo common in many hardware stores.
E6000 Clear flexible waterproof solvent based glue. Various viscosities.
Normaly thicker viscosity is most common. (Noxious solvent, but not MEK).
Manufacturer Eclectic products in US. Sold through TAP Plastics among others,
in CA. Not as strong adhesion as brown rubber glue but easier to clean and
remove.
Duro brand "Black Plastic Rubber" contains MEK and appears to be neoprene
based. Very good adhesion, good for foam seals as black color makes it
invisible. Might affect paint since it contains MEK. Thicker than Trident
glue below.
Trident brand Neoprene cement designed for wetsuit repair. Very thin and runs
easily, black color makes it suitable for light seals. Trident Diving
Equipment, Chatsworth CA. Sold through dive shops. Works very well for
neoprene. Use for making and sealing neoprene cases for lenses etc. Noxious
solvents. I have used this for foam seals and neoprene camera cases.
Dunlop Thixofix "slideable contact adhesive". Does not bond instantly when
used on two surfaces to be joined, (like brown rubber glue does). Can be
adjusted. Not as strong as brown rubber. Might be good for foam seals where
it is nice to adjust the position in a thin track etc.

Tim Hughes
