Potential visitors to London might find the website
www.stringofpearls.org.uk of interest as it has maps and lots of links,
giving information about many tourist attractions of all sorts and their
opening times.
List members always seem interested in Ansel Adams and visitors to London
might be interested to know that an exhibition, 'Ansel Adams at 100', is
being advertised as being held at the Hayward Gallery (telephone 44 20 7960
5226) until 22nd September. There was a favourable review in The Times (of
London) newspaper on 17th July and it says the exhibition was first seen at
San Francisco's Museum of Modern Art and will continue on to Berlin, and
also that it contains 114 images.
