A few weeks ago I received (in Spain) an order from B&H, with a declared
value of US$ 484, plus US$ 54 of shipping & handling (well, they
backordered some of the items, so maybe not the whole $54 apply). The
Duties & Taxes invoice stated US$ 1 = 1.1261 EUR, and the declared value
(in EUR) was 588.67. After that:
Duty: 588.67 * 3.2% = 18.84 EUR (value + duty = 607.51)
VAT: 607.51 * 16% = 97.2 EUR
Other taxes: min. 8.35 EUR
--------
Total: 124.39 EUR
About 210f declared value.
