One reason I think the mailers are "flying standby" is a comment from one
of the nice email ladies, who misinterpreted one of my questions and wrote
"There is not a guaranteed service time for mailers" -- one of her
trained-monkey responses.
I suspect the service you get living in a "high volume/professional service
area" also accounts for the second-class treatment to those of us living in
the boonies. They need you, they don't need us.
