Well, I was only half serious on the trade. I've
gotten to quite liking my 19-35. Likewise, I like
being able to go to 35mm. It compliments my 35-70
well, picking up where it leaves off. As for
performance, I have found that it is more then
acceptable for my purposes. Here is a photo that I
took at 19mm f/8.

The scan isn't that great. I originally printed it to
8x10, but in the darkroom I could crank the head way
up and it still maintained very respectable sharpness,
all the way from the head to the shoes. I can't
really judge contrast because there are too many
variables in B&W chemistry, and I'm not that
consistent yet!
But it looks like you got a very good price on that
Samyang, it is definitely worth at least checking out
for that price!
