You can tell her: 1) You are going to miss her that week. 2) The hostilities
were over long ago and now we are friends. 3) That we are all house broken
and don't bite. 4) That April in Texas is beautiful as opposed to August (the
other A month) when it is hotter than hell and brown. 5) That I really didn't
submit the picture of the alligator in TOPE 10 and even if I had, I wouldn't
take you anywhere near one of those beast. 6) That I have travel extensively
with friends from the UK (Somerset) and that they have me trained to act
proper. 7) That there is another Brit who has expressed interest so you won't
be the only stranger in a strange land. If nothing else works, you could
grovel and beg or maybe beg and grovel. Hope it works out, we are going to
have a wonderful time. If she is really apprehensive I can provide her with
