Zuik gang,
I have just purchased George's Tokina 24-40mm ATX zoom. Because it's an ATX,
I'm gonna
assume the performance is pretty good - assumption being a dangerous sport and
all,
anyway - but does anyone (apart from George, sorry ...) have any experience of
this lens that
they'd like to share? Sorry if this is a little indelicate, and probably
something that should
have been sorted out PRIOR to purchase ... hmmm ... I'm just so trusting when
it comes to
you guys!
Anyhow, the short version is that I also wish to (still) sell my MINT Zuiko
65-200mm constant
f4 zoom. I appreciate that I have posted about this lens before, but was
unaware that I really
had priced myself well out of the market.
The lens is truly showroom, and it's close-focus function works a treat. It
doesn't seem to be
one of those lenses that gets raved about that much, but I've found it's
sharpness and
handling to be bang on. I just don't need a tele-zoom anymore.
I'm asking $170 US + shipping to wherever you are. Price includes linear
Polarizer filter and
front and back caps. To repeat - this lens is MINT; if anyone is still in the
market for an OEM
tele-zoom, it would be hard to beat this baby.
Reply off-list if interested.
Cheers,
Reuben Acciano
