I don't think it's a problem. My 8mm Sigma circular fisheye has a very
obvious blue fringing around the edge of the field, but the images inside
have no fringing at all, even very close to the edge.
I believe that the colour correction of a multi-element lens gives
different fields of view depending on the colour, so there will be fringing
at the very edges.
