(Extracted from an article in UK photo magazine "Practical Photography"; the
issue is not known, but was probably sometime during 1990. The article
reviewed the OM4Ti plus 3 lenses.)
A truly whacky fisheye which ought by rights to have relatively poor optical
ability, but this only materialised at f11-f22 where edge definition was
poor. Sharpness in the centre was good throughout the aperture range, and
f2.8 and f4 gave surprisingly good results.
MTF % values for centre and edge (edge in parenthesis)
(the spatial frequency measured was not specified):
f2.8: 53% (40%)
f4: 60% (42%)
f5.6: 59% (42%)
f8: 58% (32%)
f11: 54% (29%)
f16: 43% (24%)
f22: 29% (18%)
