Hi Chris

Thanks, I need to work on getting back into photography in
the here and now though, and I'm surprised at how hard it
is in Melbourne, to wet and cold. I think I'll go back to
Kalgoorlie in Western Australia this xmas, and do some nice
mining shots with double exposed full moons etc.
When yourve had a photographic collection spanning about
20 years, I really wish I had scanned the best ones into
my computer back in 1997 before my ex "relocated"
everything.
I've got photos of my trip to Kalgoorlie/Perth/Meekatharra
to put up soon as well, though they lack that touch I
use to have, I'm sure it will return once I get more
familiar with my replacement equipment, not to mention
getting familiar with the different films out there. I use
to shoot exclusivly with Kodak VeriColor film but that
seems to have vanished. Knowing your film is an important
part of color photography (as well as knowing light).
I found some old VeriColor film in my brothers grog fridge in
Kalgoorlie, so used that to take some photos up past Meekatharra
in late May/early April as well, got a very nice water shot :-)

As I dont run any sort of Windows software, I only go down
there maybe once a month, its bigger than it looks. I also provide
all my own email, ftp and DNS services etc. Its out of the way
down there, less fan noise, and has its own smoke alarm and
security.
I'm a pure AIX and OS/2 person, my wifes 100% Mac.
