As you're looking at the front of the body, lens removed, left up the
right edge of the plastic cover across the bottom below the mirror until
it's at a 45 degree angle. Then just side it out. On the left side,
you'll see the electro-magnet and armature -- roll some tissue into a
point, squeeze the point flat, dip the point into some acetone and wipe
the surfaces between the armature and the magnet. Change tissue and
repeat several times, being careful to leave the surfaces very clean and
shiny. Be careful not to dislodge any springs! Replace the cover the
same way it came out. It should work fine for some time, though without
a thorough cleaning the lubrication may migrate back onto the faces
again -- hopefully not for several months at least, perhaps years.
