Lets hope others are right and he made an honest mistake.
In my opinion, you need to take this up with him immediately and point out
the misrepresentation / error, and ask for him to take back the faulty lens
and provide the one in the photo.
If this has been a deliberate act however, it is fraud, and needs to be treated
as such. In NZ this could be subject to legal remedy. And eBay need to be
informed, using their processes. They have help pages dealing with this topic.
