One of the local camera stores got bought out by another one of the local
camera stores; and the new owner poked around the basements of them both and
decided to have a garage sale to clear out stuff. So I went along to see
what was there.
Some stuff was just too cheap to pass up; I don't really _need_ an 8-reel
Paterson tank and 5 more reels, but for $2, how could I say no? Same thing
applied to the 250 sheets of Kodak Polycontrast 8x10s for $20, or the 500' x
4" roll of Agfa paper for $20. (oh, and these are Canadian dollars, too)
Then there was the box of bits with "Olympus" on the side and $10 written
on it. and I believe I hear the collective ears of the list prick up in
anticipation..)
Contents:
35-70 3.4-4.5 AF hood.
2 x NIB -2 - -4 'Variable Dioptric Adapter', which I believe is for the
IS-1/IS-2
2 x diopt. correction lens #1
TTL Auto cord 0.3 instructions (just the instructions, sadly)
NIB Battery Pack VF-BP81 (google search suggests it's for a camcorder..)
Some sort of battery holder I don't recognise; takes 4AA, has a diagonally
sloped end
Focus screen #9 (the endoscopy one..)
neat, but nothing spectacular -- but then, lurking at the bottom, a 49mm
B&W circular polariser..
So, is it a fang given that the good deal part wasn't actually OM-related?
