Earlier in the week I posted about a problem I was having with the Fairlawn
NJ Qualex lab misplacing a processed roll of Kodachrome. I was still
getting pitiful responses to my emails, the customer relations person
saying "It was here but we can't find it." I gave it a couple days
rest. The web tracking site changed the message to "not available" and the
delivery ETA as "pending." I sent another note around Wednesday asking
"What's next?" and the CR person responded saying my roll had been
processed and shipped from the factory. I received the roll in today's mail.
That roll was mailed on 5/15, so 3 1/2 weeks is the
turnaround. Unfortunately, while that is new record for longest time for
mailer processing, it's not that far off the old record. But I am very
happy, as you can all imagine. Better late than never, and happy ending.
