There is a treasure box of user opinions and facts in the OM List

to conclusions to say "the 50/2 doesn't seem to really have a huge,
positive following" based a few responses over the last days. For
example, there was a long thread on this lens back when Michael Johnston
wrote an article on it in Photo Techniques. Michael's preparation of
that article is what lead me to do a three-way comparison between a
Mandler design 50mm f/2 Summicron-M, the 50mm f/2 Macro Zuiko and the
"Made in Japan" 50mm f/1.8 Zuiko, which shares its optical formula with
the aforementioned Summicron-M.
