I actually use a similar trick as Rick to save my lens cap. It requires
drilling a small hole in the center of the cap, tying fishing line
through the hole and epoxying the little knot in place, and connecting
the other end to a fishing snap swivel to the camera strap eye. The
idea came from my father - a very early OM1 fan. Works quite well -
after losing I don't know how many caps....
