It usually takes 2 adapters, one that screws into the telescope in place
of the eyepiece assembly or fits into the eyepiece assembly and has a
male 'T' thread and another, a T adapter (~$10) for Oly mount that
provides the female 'T' thread. All the adapters are readily available.
With most smaller refractors and Newtonians, a tube adapter that fits in
place of the eyepiece is needed. With small Newtonians there is often a
balance problem from the weight of the camera. Schmidt-Cassegrains and
Maksutovs are the easiest mechanically.

Roger, great shot of the moon. I have a Celestron 4.5 scope I would like to
try some moon shots with. My question is how do you mount it to the camera.
Is there a Olympus mount or Celestron mount to mount camera body to the
scope? And if so can you still buy them new or do I need to search for used?
