I'll have to wait for the photos, but saying 1/3 might even be stretching
it. I just know they looked too small in the frame. I don't usually get
close enough to threaten them. As far as safety, if I'm out of the vehicle,
I carry something that would quickly discourage any aggressiveness on their
part. I've never had to use it that way. In the vehicle..., well I drive a
little GM Tracker, which hopefully can outrun them. Probably the most likely
creature to attack you in the NB woods is a mother partridge with chicks.
