When you say the batteries are good, are you referring to the two button =
cells
in the small carrier in the front of the MD-2? They're the power supply =
for the
LCD display.

yes I agree, that´s how it looks.
But, what can I do? Do you think it is possible to disassemble the MD2 to
have a closer look for a loose contact? I am a bit hesitating because I am
not sure what I will get into when I start. And after all, it is not so
bad, just an annoyance.
