I started compiling a list of OM-1 non-MD serial numbers to try and figure
out exactly when Olympus stopped building M-1's. There's nothing really
special about these OM-1's, but some of them do have surprisingly high
serial numbers. My theory is that Olympus produced a batch of replacement
non-MD bottom plates with high serial numbers, but I don't have any conrete
proof of that yet.
