Hi all,
Yesterday I was in my favoured photoshop collecting a roll of used film and
noticed they had an 85mm Zuiko in, so I asked if I could clap it on the front
of my 4Ti.
Bear in mind that I had been looking through a 35-70 just then. The difference
was astounding - so much brighter and sharp-looking. Probably something to
do with contrast as well. This particular 85 has a front element that has a lot
of fine scratches which I believe will not detract from its picture taking
ability,
so they have graded it as a 6. The rest of it is fine - Oh a little oil on the
tips
of the aperture blades - the first I have ever seen in a lens. I may try to
borrow it to see how it performs.
These early prime Zuikos are like little jewels.
