Evergreen repeatedly scores in the top ten in the country for liberal schools.
I am not a grad form there, but see the kids daily here in Olympia.
The schools reputation brings students from around the globe.
Infact, they have a good photography program and I talk all the time to
students and they are really in to their studies. They are very open minded
and don't give a hoot about the Apple Cup.
I actually have heard very little in my travels that look down on the school,
only positive. The well to do's in the Seattle area would never let their
kids go to a school of long hairs like Evergreen. They usually send the
"lil' Angel" off to Pullman for an education (yikes!)-now there is a
reputation.
The students here with their beards, bare feet, drums and Pentax K1000s are
refreshing...sort of : )
