Hmmm... the "made in Japan" lens that is desirable is a 50/1.8 lens.
However, $35 for a 50/1.4 is a pretty good price! The ones I see on e*ay are
usually over $50, sometimes a lot higher... The desirable version of the
50/1.4 is the more recent multi-coated form, with serial numbers over
1,000,000 and particularly over 1,100,000... one of those for $35 would be
very good indeed. I think Olympus discontinued the 50/1.4 and only makes
(made?) the 50/1.8 and 50/1.2 sometime in the early 1990's (someone here
will know the details of that I'm sure).
