I get around that by having four trays next to the enlarger; develop, stop,
fix, and a big tub of water. All the paper goes into the water in the end
and sloshes around in there until I take it all out to the sink (no plumbing
in the darkroom corner of the basement) to give it a proper wash. That way
my hands get a wash and dry after every develop cycle. Not great, I'm sure,
but it's been okay so far.
