It happened again.
My OM4Ti seized up. Pressed the shutter release, mirror went up and it
stayed there. Thought perhaps the batteries might have run down so took them
out and tested them in a Leica M6. No problems there, batteries were
powering up just fine. Rubbed them down, put them back in the 4Ti, nothing
happened. Took them out did it again, meter came up for awhile, then died.
Frustrated to the extreme. My 4Ti sits dead and useless in my dry cabinet. I
am suspecting that the problem may be the little spring that touches the
batteries. Any suggestions on how to make the contact more reliable? I am
sick of this happening again and again.
Please help.
