An opinion:

I've not dealt with John Hermanson, but his open response on this list says
to me that he is an honourable man (acknowledging all have faults). Many
have written supporting this view and this man.

I am hesitant of the "let's launder the washing in public" approach which
seems so common today.

But I could be wrong.
