Film to the rescue!
The weather in the Houston area finally cooperated enough for me to try
my hand at shooting the current planetary alignment. I shot both with my
OM2n & my (Oly) C4040 digital. The digital pix didn't turn out as well
as I hoped; they're quite noisy (due in part to the camera getting hot, I
think. Hint: turn off the LCD monitor.) The film pix turned out much
better, though many were overexposed with 800 film and the skies I was
dealing with.

Nice shot. Did they bracket like heck or did you just "know" the exposure?
Also, how did you manage to hang the labels on the sky? Angels helping? :-)
