You can apply zone-systemish exposure and development controls on the film
(kinda hard unless you only shoot the same lighting on each roll). Then
there's the printing controls:
- Dodging
- Burning-in
- Dual-filter variable contrast printing, using dodging and burning.
- Potassium Ferricyanide
And still, it's a lot easier in the computer. But there ain't nothing
like a really good F or N silver print.
